There is so much we can do to help our beloved animal friends

  1. Buy only from companies who do not test on animals, PETA has an Updated list on their site.
  2. Join and donate to any of the great animal welfare Organizations listed below.
  3. Volunteer at your local Humane society, Animal Welfare Association, ASPCA or local shelter/refuge.
  4. Adopt a pet.
  5. Do NOT buy from puppy/cat mills.
  6. Educate others on what they can do.

Herding Rescue Dogs of Wyoming, Inc.

WyomingRescue-CollegeHeRD of WY, Inc. is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to help unwanted dogs find appropriate and loving homes. HeRD of WY was formally organized in 2008 out of the recognition that there are many herding breed dogs and mixes that “fall through the cracks” in Wyoming. Herding dogs often struggle in certain homes and shelter environments due to their high energy, intelligence and sensitivity, and then have no safe place to go. The program has been so successful that HeRD now has active foster homes and relationships with shelters in six states and our adopters come from all over North America!  Visit Their Web Site

♥  We will re-home owner surrenders facing hardship no longer able to care for their herding dog.
♥  We want to reduce the animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering and educating the public of its importance.
♥  We are strong advocates against animal suffering, abuse and neglect.  We teach the importance of proper care, training and socialization for a humane world.
